TA also specializes in cases involving large transit authorities and multinational corporations and operating agencies. While TA has defended both public agencies (Fresno Area Transit, Utah Transit Authority, Pinellas County School Board, Newburgh School Board) and private companies (Laidlaw Transportation, THOR BUS/El Dorado National, KETRON, American Ambulance Association), it has helped plaintiffs seek damage awards against the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Los Angeles Department of Transportation, San Diego Transit, Ryder-ATE, Mark IV Bus, Antelope Valley School District, Sacramento Regional Transit District, SEPTA, New Jersey Transit, Bi-State Development Corporation, C&J Trailways, ATC/Vancom, Seattle DOT/Metro, Chrysler Corporation and Neoplan. TA served as the technical consultant to the ACLU in its Class Action suit against the LACMTA for non-compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

TA does not accept all cases, will not help an attorney pursue a "frivolous" action, and will not misrepresent any facts or opinions. However, TA will assist any reasonable defendant--if only to help it characterize and quantify the degree of exposure and develop a defense/settlement strategy accordingly.
