MEMBERSHIPS AND AFFILIATIONS


Transportation Alternatives retains membership in a number of national and international organizations involved with transportation service and vehicle policies, technology and regulations. TA President Ned Einstein is an active member of the American Public Transit Association, National Association of Pupil Transportation, and Non-School Bus Use Committee of the National Standards Conference. Mr. Einstein has also held long-term affiliations with the National Association of Pupil Transportation (NAPT), National Association of State Directors of Pupil Transportation Services (NASDPTS), National Child Transport Association (NCTA), National School Transportation Association (NSTA), National Safety Council, Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), L'association Internationale pour le Securite du Transport des Jeunnes (A.I.S.T.), ANATEEP, Northeast School Transportation Safety Institute, and U.S. Business Council for Southeastern Europe (USBCSEE). TA President Ned Einstein served as Director of the U.S. Business Council for Slovenia during the nation's first five years of independence (1991-1996). For more information, see:
