Transportation Alternatives created the U.S.-Slovene joint venture company, TAM-USA, which coordinated and directed the design of a European-manufactured school/activity bus and a luxury tour coach for the North American market. This effort included TA's direction of an interdisciplinary User Design Committee, integration of U.S./SAE and European components, and preparation of Product Acceptance Standards.
